Closing out The Close Friends tour, Scotty Sire touched down this past week at Mercury Lounge in a night that was one to remember (and all we can talk about.)

We at THP are no strangers to the talent Scotty Sire has. And we’ve gotta say, with each project he’s continued to express his voice in a way that hits different. Fresh off the release of the track ‘MOOD SWINGS’ released back in September, we’re still obsessively watching the music video, with appearances of a few familiar faces. (Hello, vlog squad?!) Check it out below!
The night at Mercury Lounge was intimate and high energy throughout. Mixing a variety of older, newer and unreleased tracks, we got to see the return of standouts ‘Ruin Your Party’ and ‘Mister Glassman.’ And believe us here Honey Poppers, the crowd knew these bops word for word!
Standout moments of the night included the the 2018 project co-written by Scotty Sire and Wiegner, titled ‘Get Better,’ surrounding awareness of mental health, which reinforces the value not only the song has, but Sire’s entire message as an artist. And we at THP, are looking forward to what Scotty has next in store.
