NYC. If I don't have coffee: I'm at a show.
There’s beauty in duality, and that is all Luna Li. From the sweet sounds of ‘2516!’ to the release of the smash hit ‘Silver Into Rain’ off the March 2022 album duality, we at THP were lucky enough to catch Luna Li doing a lowkey set at Baby’s All Right.
Luna Li, the stylish and iconic Korean-Canadian singer-songwriter, is a force to be reckoned with. Based out of Toronto, the songstress has taken her ethereal sound and made a name for herself with a signature flair that welcomes her audience with lush inclusivity. Factoring in the instrumentation of delicate vocals and harp, Luna Li has the grace of a symphony that we can listen to all day long.
We at THP were fortunate enough to catch Luna Li off of the release of duality. And let us tell you, Honey Poppers, these are tracks we need to turn up, listen to, sing (and obviously jam?!) along.
And here’s the true insider tip: if you were vibing with female rockstar Audrey Nuna, who we also caught at Baby’s All Right, Luna will always remain a must-listen on your next playlist.
duality shows listeners of Luna Li, both new and from day one, the evolution of her diversified style. A unique fusion of classical instrumentation (think harps and electric guitar!) and a kneebuckling melody. It made for a night we’re still shazaming songs from, and we wish you could’ve been there, honeybees!
To show this incredibly talented girl even more love, we’ve listed our go-to tracks here. Some we even got to hear live, too! And since we’re feeling it, that means you are going to as well.
Our Top Go To Tracks from Luna Li:
- ‘harp jam’
- ‘Flower (Into Full Bloom)’
- ‘What You’re Thinking’
- ‘Silver Into Rain!’
- ‘Alone but not Lonely’
- ‘2516’
