It’s no secret that Maisie Peters has been on our radar here at the Honey POP from the moment she showed up on our TikTok feeds. So when we heard there was a new version of ‘Cate’s Brother’ for us to stream, we lost our minds! The song was originally dropped in May after fans begged for the full track when she gave us a taste on TikTok. Since its release, ‘Cate’s Brother‘ passed 8.7M million streams, which is absolutely insane.

The track is based on a true story and has already seen a few different versions. One released in June featuring Matt Maltese. This version of ‘Cate’s Brother’ has a response from Cate’s brother himself, in this case, Matt. This version ripped us to shreds and made us feel whole again.

This new version of ‘Cate’s Brother‘ features Breland, a songwriter who also found their place in the industry through TikTok. This version comes right after Maisie’s amazing performance on The Late Late Show with James Corden last summer.

Maisie recently announced her second North American headlining tour i’m telling the whole of america tour, and it’s selling out fast. This tour kicks off in November with a sold-out show in New York! We’ve been sending Maisie our setlist requests since the moment this tour was announced.
