Oh, how we love Rising Star Roundup! We get to tell you all about the upcoming icons in the music world! What could be more fun than that? (The answer is so very clearly absolutely nothing. Nothing is more fun than that.) We have been trying forever to think of the perfect words to describe these upcoming stars.
Rising Star Roundup always has been and always will be fully stocked with the best rising artists the world has ever seen. This list isn’t changing that! As per usual, buckle up because we’ve got some real talent coming your way!
Ber
‘Boys Who Kiss You In Their Car’ is a song we really need to be discussing more, and Ber is an artist we will gladly be discussing more. She reminds us of Maisie Peters in the best way, and you know we love her! Ber is definitely headed for the top, so get your tickets to her rise to the top! Don’t let her go unnoticed. Rising Star Roundup demands it.
This song was written right after I realized (ashamedly) that I may have a type.

ella jane
Guys, this song and this next artist are marked as THP faves. ‘I Wanna’ by ella jane is so addicting that we’ve had it on repeat for a week. We also wanna be in love, and that’s why we’ve chosen to be in love with ella jane! This song is so relatable, all while also comforting. We knew that she needed to be on the Rising Star Roundup this week! Ella’s soft voice has us hooked, and we can’t wait for more. Join us in following her on tour. Here’s the link for tickets!
To me, it feels like the culmination of so many moments, both in my life and within the project.

Liz Cass
Liz Cass is the physical embodiment of the word ethereal, and Rising Star Roundup is lucky to have her! Her voice is so angelic that it’s completely unreal. We are beyond obsessed with ‘Something Real,’ you need to take a listen. We’re getting serious ‘Running Up That Hill’ vibes. Maybe we’ll see it in Stranger Things season 4!
‘Something Real’ is about the search for a genuine connection and looking for that in all the wrong places.

plxntkid
On top of having the coolest artist name on the planet, plxntkid has some of the coolest inspirations, like Pierce the Veil! His new song ‘parasite’ is bringing us back to the peak of our emo days! (It wasn’t a phase. We’re still little emos at heart; we just… now have a bee!)
A big part of coping is my music; I think it’s unlikely I would be making music if I didn’t have these problems. Writing lyrics about what is going on in my head is the best therapy for me.

Bowen Thi
Stop what you’re doing right now and go stream ‘Favorite.’ This song has nowhere near the hype it deserves. Bowen Thi gave us a masterpiece with this song, and it’s the least we can do to stream it a million times. (We’ve already started, it’s who we are!)
If you’re not streaming ‘Favorite’ right this instant, we’re disappointed in you. You need to hear the kind of talent that Bowen creates if you want to truly live. We’re truly living, and we can assure you it’s beautiful. Bowen is what Rising Star Roundup is all about.
