We Cried Happy Tears At Tegan And Sara’s Crybaby Tour

We are absolutely ecstatic that we were able to see Tegan and Sara’s show at the House of Blues in Anaheim! We patiently (and excitedly) waited for their new album Crybaby since we first learned they were working on new music in 2021. Now we get to say we saw it live, too!

Tomberlin

Opening for Tegan and Sara was the incredibly charming Tomberlin. Tomberlin had us on an emotional rollercoaster with her hilarious banter and the intimate storytelling in her songs. From the relatable conversation with her audience to a captivating performance, Tomberlin was the perfect opener to the show—and we wouldn’t have it ‘Any Other Way.’

Tegan and Sara

We were so excited to have Tegan and Sara hit the stage next! The crowd grew louder and moved ‘Closer’ to the stage as the sister-duo entered. Cheers filled the room as they started their first song of the night, ‘Stop Desire.’ They played gems from their new album, Crybaby, including ‘I Can’t Grow Up’ and ‘All I Wanted.’ We went wild when they played their classic hits, ‘Back in Your Head,’ ‘Where Does the Good Go?” and ‘Walking with a Ghost.’ To close the night, Tegan and Sara pleased the audience with ‘Closer.’

We had the best time at the Crybaby tour and would love to experience it again! For now, we will just continue to stare at the gallery from the show below happily.

Have you been to the Crybaby tour? If you haven’t, make sure to get your tickets here. You will not regret it!
