George Moir is back with another banger! If you know anything about George, you know his songs are all pretty vibes. If you don’t know, then get to know. From hits like ‘Baked Beans,’ which seems to be a fan favorite, to ‘Flowers,’ he has never missed. Every song is dance-worthy! It’s the kind of music you’d roll your windows down to, or pull the roof back and drive on an empty road with it at full blast.
‘Apollo 13’ is no different. It goes straight into a good beat. With his echoey vocals throughout, the song sounds like a summer day, clear skies, and just good vibes. George has quite a unique sound to his voice and his music, and it’s recognizable in the best ways. He is so quintessentially British, we have no choice but to adore him.
‘Apollo 13’ is so catchy, when it goes straight in with the beat of the song, it’s a hit of instant serotonin. We’ve seen George live in the past and the crowd loves him! We would highly recommend you make it to a show one day if you can.
Not only is the song just perfectly cute, the music video is handmade by a small team, with George making the little props himself. The video seems to follow a guy repeating the same patterns every day and inevitably getting bored with it, but right at the last minute, missing out on some of the biggest opportunities, if only he had waited a moment longer. There’s a very nostalgic, old-time feel to the video which makes it feel comforting in many ways.
We can only hope you’ll be a fan of George Moir after this, or at the very least, listen to more of his songs. We personally think all of his songs should be added to everyone’s playlist for the perfect little pick-me-up whenever you need it!
