Don’t say we don’t treat you! Open up that streaming platform and add ‘Daydreaming’ by noelle and Virginia To Vegas right this second because this is a bop and a half.
Canadian singer, noelle, was recently named iHeart Radio’s Future Star, and they’re so incredibly correct and we know for a fact you’re all going to love her.
This collab came about after noelle posted a cover of ‘Selfish’ by Virginia To Vegas which caught his attention, leading to her first record deal, releasing her own music, and officially touring for her first time ever on Virginia’s, Rock, Paper, Scissors tour… this feels like the plot to a book we would love to read.
It’s always so fun working with Derik (Virginia To Vegas), I’ve looked up to him for such a long time as an artist, so it’s super surreal to have him featured on Daydreaming – it just feels right.
noelle on the making of ‘Daydreaming’
We’ve never danced more like those inflatable people in parking lots (?). Okay, but what are they actually called? Anyway … dreamy vocals (lol), a danceable beat, and beautiful lyrics, this song really has it all and we’ve had the repeat button on all … week.
And now I’m wishing I could go back to you / Picturing that won’t do
Luckily for you, and us, this isn’t noelle’s first release. With over a dozen other songs to choose from ‘Daydreaming’ is noelle’s second release of 2022, does this mean another EP is on the way? We sure hope so! A couple of months ago, noelle released ‘Cold Killer’ an upbeat dance-pop track that we are once again obsessed with.
An inspiration to all with this release, noelle partnered with SPINCO to create a Cold Killer Burnout charity ride which raised money for the Native Women’s Association of Canada. Highlighting artists who care about making change is something we love to do here at The Honey POP and we can’t emphasize how important people like noelle are. Not only this, but she is also taking part in a partnership with Nobis on their annual #NoColdShoulder campaign.
From getting signed at 17, to now, noelle is here to stay and we welcome her with open arms and cannot wait to see what’s in store next.
