FYI: There’s New Music From Meet Me @ The Altar, The Summer Set, And More!

March has been absolutely stellar in gifting us new music. Seriously, it’s been bangers on bangers and we’re pretty sure that’s not slowing down any time soon. We wanted to take a minute to highlight some of our favorite recent releases from our fave artists, like Meet Me @ The Altar, The Summer Set, girlfriends, and more!

Meet Me @ The Altar: Past // Present // Future

Respectfully, if you’re not a Meet Me @ The Altar stan yet…wyd?? You need to get on board right now. MM@TA brings a fresh new face to the scene, along with some much-needed diversity. Their sound will take you right back to the early 2000s when the scene was at its peak (that is a fantastic thing). We have been so stoked about all of their releases and waiting on the edge of our seats for their debut album. Past // Present // Future is a quintessential pop-punk release from this year and we have a feeling it’s going to be in our top albums for this year. Some of our non-single favorites include ‘T.M.I’ and ‘Thx 4 Nothin,’ but really the whole album is full of non-stop bangers. There are no skips and we mean that. Do yourself a favor and stream the album. You will not be disappointed we promise.

The Summer Set – ‘Under The Influence(r)’

Sorry to the Scorpios but we’re obsessed with this track. And of course, you know we love everything The Summer Set does around here. ‘Under The Influence(r)’ is the pop-punk break-up track we needed in our lives tbh. It’s fun, it’s angsty, and it’s oh-so catchy. Oh, and, shoutout to our girl Jess for the one-handed drumming in the music video. Talk about talent 👏 We’re hoping this track will be making an appearance on The Blossom Tour, kicking off in April. Head to their website for tickets + VIP info and don’t miss out! Stream the track here.

girlfriends – ‘Over My Dead Body’

Another name you might’ve seen around THP before, girlfriends have dropped their newest single and it is in fact a bop. They have a knack for catchy hooks and their songs are sure to get stuck in your head, ‘Over My Dead Body’ is no exception to that. We’re adding it to the list of girlfriends tracks we have on repeat and we have a feeling you will too! You can stream it here.

The Wldlfe – Goodbye To All That

We’re 100% dropping this in here just so we can say we told you so when The Wldlfe makes it big that’s all. The band’s new album Goodbye To All Of That is 9 songs worth of catchy sounds, emotional lyricism, and reliability all wrapped up in some of the most addictive tracks you’ve ever heard. How many times did we play ‘Close To You’ on repeat when it first dropped as a single? Honestly, we lost track somewhere after the 100th listen. The non-single tracks like ‘Good@Bad@Us’ keep the momentum going and we’re so thrilled to have the full album finally in our hands. We mean it when we say The Wldlfe is about to become a big name, so don’t miss out on them. Stream the album here.

Will we be playing Meet Me @ The Altar on repeat for the foreseeable future? You bet. But every single one of these releases is amazing and we want to know your thoughts on them! We’re high-key jealous of everyone catching some of these songs live this year. If that’s you, tell us about it! Make sure to drop a comment below.
