Last month, Magnolia Park released a new song, ‘Do Or Die’ and now, they’ve released another new song, ‘Facedown’ Major w for pop punk fans today.
This new song is on the deluxe version of Baku’s Revenge, titled Baku’s Revenge Deluxe. It’s set to be released on April 14th via Epitaph Records. If you haven’t already pre-ordered it, you can do so here. Just so you know, they have some really cool vinyl. You don’t want to miss out on that.
You know we at The Honey POP love sad songs. But we also love a good, uplifting song. And this is exactly what ‘Facedown’ is. It’s positively, a positive pop-punk anthem. And it seamlessly matches the tone of the album.

There’s no denying that hating your town is a common theme in pop-punk songs. We can all laugh and say it’s part of pop-punk bingo. But on a serious note, feeling misunderstood and out of place is a very real feeling. So this lyric really hits hard. And we think it will for so many people.
“I’ma run straight through you, counting the days, but I’m not giving up”
While it’s totally normal to feel sad and hopeless (as we said, we love sad songs), it’s important to remember to keep your head up. And this song is definitely a much-needed reminder of that. So, thank you, Magnolia Park.
