Last month, one of the hottest tours of the years was announced: Yellowcard’s 20th anniversary Ocean Avenue tour! Due to high demand, they’ve added 8 more tour dates. We love how this will give opportunities for people to hear this album live. (Or, multiple times if traveling for concerts is your thing.)
We gave you five of our favorite songs to celebrate Yellowcard adding 8 more dates. Here are five other songs we hope could make their setlist. But honestly, we’ll be stoked to hear anything, considering it’s their first tour in six years.
‘With You Around’
This one is almost always on their setlist, but it truly belongs there. There’s no denying that it’s a fun song. We can’t not sing along to and we’ll sing ‘til our voices are gone!
‘Always Summer’
Honestly, this is one of our favorites from Southern Air. Also, it’d be pretty fitting, considering, it’s a summer tour. We’re just saying.
‘Lights And Sounds’
The title track of their 2006 album. This one also frequently makes their setlist, but we definitely aren’t complaining. It goes hard and even harder live.
‘Rough Landing, Holly’
This is another one from Lights And Sounds. It’s honestly probably one of the highest-energy songs. Yellowcard is known for asking crowds to open up circle pits and this is the song to do it. Check out our concert survival guide for dos and don’ts.
‘Rest In Peace’
Of course, we had to include something from their self-titled album. It sets the tone for the album, but it’s also a fantastic song by itself. We can definitely see it keeping up the energy toward the end of their set.
