Love You Later has been on our radar since the moment we heard her hypnotizing vocals for the first time. With music that is reminiscent of MUNA and vocals that are infectious, full, and jaw-dropping, how could you not agree with us? You know that our calendars are circled for the release of From The Window Seat, which drops everywhere on May 5th!

The announcement of From The Windowseat came with the release of the absolute banger that is ‘Girl With Headphones.’ This track gave us a look into Lexi’s mind and how she deals with feeling lost. Sometimes we lose ourselves in the chaos that is surviving and trying to live our life to the fullest. Lexi doesn’t hesitate to talk about the fears within that, and the fears within some of the solutions to these problems.
Love You Later’s newest release, ‘Are You Gonna Care When I Die,’ shows us Lexi’s vulnerable side. She talks about not only reclaiming yourself and your power from the things that do not deserve it, but also choosing yourself. Lexi says this song came from a point in her life when she felt like she was simply drowning in rejection:
No one seemed to care or listen or take me seriously. I realized that the attention from these people was not worth my time or energy, and ultimately did not define me. The song is a constant reminder to myself to regain my voice and power to tell my own story. The ones that are meant to notice, will notice. Ultimately, it’s a song for anyone who feels insignificant and undermined.
