Friday is the best day of the week, in our opinion. Not only do we have the weekend to look forward to, but we also have new music to listen to! This roundup release is a long one, but we promise you it’s worth it because we’re going to talk about Niall Horan’s The Show, Sam Smith and Madonna’s ‘Vulgar,’ and EMELINE’s ‘Everything I’m Not,’ and so many others!
Niall Horan — The Show
Niall Horan’s, The Show (which he’s been teasing nonstop on TikTok) is finally out! For months, we’ve been listening to ‘Heaven’ nonstop. And now? We’ll be listening to this album nonstop. Honestly, it’s seriously a contender for AOTY. It’s filled with so many beautiful songs, like ‘You Could Start A Cult’ and ‘On A Night Like Tonight.’ But if we had to pick a favorite though? ‘Save My Life’ We love the synth vibe with this one.
Sam Smith, Madonna — ‘Vulgar’
We’re calling it right now. This is the song of the summer. It’s so fun and high energy that you can’t help but not dance to it. This song goes insanely hard. But what else would we expect when you combine Sam Smith and Madonna?
Travis Japan — Moving Pieces
The Moving Pieces just dropped and we’re obsessed. We have so many thoughts that it deserves an entire article, which you can read here.
EMELINE — ‘Everything I’m Not’
EMELINE’S previous single, ‘Feelings‘ was absolutely amazing and we’re in love with this new one too. We aren’t exaggerating when we say that ‘Everything I’m Not’ is the empowering alt-pop anthem you need in your life. The lyrics are incredibly empowering. You’ll be blasting this one on repeat.
Matteo Bocelli — ‘For You’
‘For You’ is the latest single from Matteo Boccelli. We can’t get enough of his beautiful vocals and lyrics. We could definitely see this being on a movie soundtrack because it’s the ultimate love song. We can’t wait for his debut album set to be released on September 22nd.
Arctic Lake — ‘My Weakness’
We’ve talked about Arctic Lake before and we’re about to again because their new song, ‘My Weakness’ is so good. You’ll be absolutely hypnotized by this dreamy pop song. It makes us even more excited for their EP, How Do You Make It Look So Easy set to be released later this summer.
Chris Lake, Aatig — ‘In The Yuma (Four Tet Remix)’
The original version of ‘In The Yuma’ is already a banger. But the Four Tet remix? It shows us how powerful remixes can be. You can’t not dance to this remix. Four Tet played this live at Coachella and now we’re thankful that we can listen to it on repeat, like it deserves!
Michaël Brun, Saint Levant, Lolo Zouaï — ‘Sak Pase’
This song is a multilingual masterpiece. This song not only has lyrics in English, but also in French, and in Arabic! Even if you don’t know all three languages, it still goes hard. It’s so catchy and it’ll make you want. to dance.
Jenny Lewis — Joy’All
Even if you aren’t familiar with Jenny Lewis, this definitely deserves a listen. Her new, fifth studio album is essentially 90’s R&B meets country. There’s really no one doing it like her! Icon behavior!
LOPHIILE — The Good Days Between
We can’t get enough of producer’s, loophiile’s new EP. It was inspired by his time in London and it reflects that. From now on, every time you think of London, you’ll think of this EP because. it truly fits the vibe.
