We told you that OWENN is an artist to watch back in January, and with everything he’s done this year, he’s just proven our point more and more. First, there’s his irresistible ‘LUV’ single that came out back in February, then he kicked off his gig as an opening act on Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in late May. Now, he’s given us what might be our favorite song of his to date with ‘Dark Side Of The Moon’ – and trust us, that’s a huge accomplishment considering how amazing his catalog already is.
‘Dark Side Of The Moon’ is all about the power of love and how it can help us work on accepting our darker traits, which is such a beautiful theme. Between the thoughtful lyrics and OWENN’s gorgeous vocals, you can really step into the story and relate it to your own life, bringing the passion of the song to the next level. The moon is still beautiful even when there’s a shadowy area you can’t really see, and your heart is still beautiful even if there are times when you give into your fears, insecurities, or negative mindsets.
With ‘Dark Side of The Moon,’ I wanted to tell the story of a passionate relationship with a focus on sharing all of the vulnerable parts of yourself with your partner. At the end of the day, they know every side of you; the good, the bad, and the ugly.

There’s no feeling quite like the feeling of listening to an OWENN song for the first time – he manages to blow us away every single time we press play, and ‘Dark Side Of The Moon’ is one of the best examples. We seriously cannot get enough of this track. We’ve had it on repeat since release day and we don’t think that’ll be changing anytime soon! It’s a song that we think only OWENN could make, coming straight from his heart and really capturing his musical vision.
And on top of that, he’s more than just a musician – you might already recognize OWENN from his roles as the lead ‘King Of My Heart’ dancer on Taylor Swift’s reputation Tour or as her partner in the adorable ‘Lover’ music video, or even his performances with superstars like Beyoncé and Lady Gaga. We’re tired even just thinking about all the hard work he’s put into all facets of his career! He’s such an inspiration to us and we know this is just the beginning of his journey as an artist.
