Breaking News: Declan McKenna has made his triumphant return to North America this year! Hitting almost 50 cities, The Big Return Tour is making waves. We had the chance to catch it in Providence, Rhode Island last week and it was a night to remember!
Eli Smart Opens Up Fete Music Hall
Everyone packed into Fete Music Hall on Tuesday and it was a hot one for sure. Eli Smart took the stage first and the crowd loved him! From his incredible dance moves to his grandma absolutely killing it on the bass, he was an act that we can’t wait to see again! His vibe was very fun surf rock and his songs were insanely catchy. He was a perfect fit for this tour!
The Vibes Were On Point For Declan McKenna
By the time Declan McKenna was about to take the stage, the entire crowd was super sweaty but absolutely pumped for their favorite artist to come out. Fans on the barricade were even singing along to his entire pre-show playlist.
Declan and his band started the set with ‘The Kids Don’t Wanna Come Home’ and the energy in the room was electric. Declan’s setlist was a perfect mix of his first two studio albums and some of his most popular singles. He even included his newest song ‘Sympathy’ and an unreleased song off of his next release.
As the lights dimmed for the encore, Declan McKenna came back out for an incredible cover of George Harrison’s ‘All Things Must Pass.’ To end the night, he sang the long-awaited ‘British Bombs’ and everyone in the room was jumping around. The Big Return Tour was definitely one to remember and such a delight to experience.
