If we could define emo rock of today, we would say it is a blending of peak music nostalgia and a year dedicated to alternative music. All this to say, if we could pick a representative, it would be Marz23.
Emo rock revolution is Not So Far Away!
A breathtaking combination of emo music, lovely features by both Ozi and Smrtdeath, deep lyrics, and unique vocals come together to form Marz23 and his latest singles. His album, Not So Far Away, dropped earlier this year and is quickly becoming our summer serenade. We can’t stop listening to it!
But that’s not the only great news we have for you, our emo bees; the wave of revolutionary spirit will arrive with a debut tour of North America, where we will witness an electrifying shows, filled with an intoxicating blend of emo rap and rock.

What songs do we expect?
We are not going to lie, we really hope to get the chance to listen to all of the discography live, because Marz23 never ceases to amaze anyone who attends his shows. But if we could do a top 5 this would definitely be on it!
This song has been on our loop since its release. The artists voices melt so perfectly, and the power we find in the lyrics, the video, along with every detail is simply a song that deserves to be on the setlist.
Also one of our favorite collabs, this should be on this list. This song has that melancholic twist that every emo concert should have. Many things in life are overrated, but we assure you that these guys deserve all the flowers.
Who would have thought that emo rock would blend so well with some rap and beats? This song is so necessary because the guitar solo and the little chorus choreography will fill up the stage with that particular energy only Marz23 has.
Those red stairs definitely won’t be overlooked anymore by us emo bees after this video. The main track of this album just hits differently and deserves a place on this list because it is just Marz23’s essence, he is going all the way up building his musical path. With a mixture of rhythms, emotions, and guitars, we fell into his music with our whole heart.
We needed to end this at a top 5 with one of our favorite songs, and yes, this song is our top pick to close his shows with. This masterpiece just leaves us at a loss for words. A portrait of confusion, sadness, fear, resentment, pain, and desire to live. A feeling unified by chords and stitched together by a great voice.
