They’re here, they’re back, and we’re screaming! What’s the fuss about? Oh, it’s just VANNER dropping new music under the album VENI VIDI VICI. You know, a HUGE deal, that’s what! Does the name sound familiar? If you’ve followed the group since, or even before their debut in 2019, then of course it is. Or maybe you saw them during their participation in the survival show Peak Time? Yes, THEM, the winners! No matter how you heard of them, or if this is your first time and you just wanted to take a peek at what this article is all about, we invite you to take a seat and prepare for a wonderful listen.
VANNER is a group comprised of talented members who proved why they belong to the entertainment scene in various ways: be it through their debut, their musical releases, performances, or their Peak Time appearance. After the show ended back in April, they returned with a whole new mini-album and with (hopefully) more eyes on them. We wanted to share how much we liked VENI VIDI VICI, so we picked three of its songs to highlight for all of you.

‘PERFORMER’
Starting off, we’re putting their latest title track into the spotlight. ‘PERFORMER’ is just what we all needed, a track that shows exactly who VANNER is: a talented group of people born for the stage.
The song feels like a new start for the guys, and it’s sounding pretty great. To fully capture the essence of the title, the music video focuses mainly on the performance that will be delivered during live stages for this track. We felt mesmerized while watching them, and we’re about to press the replay button as soon as the clip is over.
‘WANT U BACK’
This next track, called ‘WANT U BACK,’ has a little something behind it that we found interesting. It’s produced by MONSTA X’s very own Hyungwon. He has previously written songs not only for his own group, but for others as well, with VANNER now making that list, too. And what a song this is! We are simply grooving to the beats ever since we first heard it.
The whole atmosphere of ‘WANT U BACK’ is very addictive. We’ve been listening to it quite a lot, which meant we had to include it in this list. Don’t worry, guys, we’re not going anywhere, but we would love to hear more of this one. Those vocals, the raps, the sound, how it all comes together: it’s chef’s kiss.
‘Savior’
We’re concluding our list with ‘Savior,’ a more gentle but incredibly impactful and soulful track. VANNER’s members participated in writing the lyrics for this song, which even before listening to it, led us to believe it’s a single dedicated to their fans. The lyrics simply confirmed that.
We can feel the love the guys have for their fans, and we’re melting every time we listen to it. We can’t bypass a track so emotional and beautiful such as ‘Savior,’ and we hope you don’t either.
As the album’s title translates to “I came, I saw, I conquered!” in Latin, we stand behind that meaning, as the group really conquered our hearts with their music.
