We at The Honey POP have been huge Chappell Roan stans for a while now. We couldn’t get enough of her single that she released earlier this year, ‘Red Wine Supernova.’ We’ve shared our love for it multiple times, but we just need to emphasize this: this song has the most brilliant innuendo. Her debut album, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, drops September 22nd and you need to listen. In the meantime, let’s talk about the amazing press conference we attended!
How Incredible Her Last Tour Was
On her last tour, Chappell had three local drag performers for every show. Not only that, but a portion of ticket sales went to For The Gworls, a Black trans organization that helps Black transgender people. We absolutely love how she’s doing so much for her fellow members of the LGBTQ+ community.
In regards to collaborating with more drag performers, she also said that she’d love to collaborate with Drag Race alumni, Trixie Mattel, Katya, and Crystal Methyd (who’s also from her hometown!) We’re simply gagged at the thought of it.
‘HOT TO GO!’
Let’s talk about Chappell’s most recent and hottest (sorry, we had to) single. We’re obsessed with her voice and the synth vibes. This song extremely catchy, makes you want to dance, and definitely will get stuck in your head /pos. If dance moves aren’t your thing, she released a music video with a dance you can follow. The amount of costume changes? Iconic. It had some wholesome moments with her grandparents learning it!
“H-O-T T-O G-O, you can take me hot to go!”
