Ever since we heard ‘CANDY COLORED DAYDREAM,’ we’ve been (im)patiently waiting for LUNA AURA’s new EP, THE FICTION! This five-song EP features it, as well as previously released singles: ‘MONEY BAG,’ and ‘THE FICTION,’ and two brand new songs, ‘BLIND’ and ‘CUT AND RUN.’ Even if you’ve been vibing to the singles, we still recommend listening to it in full to get the full experience.
‘MONEY BAG’
This one has been out for a few months now. We’re still obsessed. In perspective of the tracklist, it’s the obvious choice to kick off the album. It’s wild and full of energy.

‘LOST IN THE FICTION’
Yes, we’ve been jamming to this previously released single for a while now. But we just want to reiterate how much we love this song. We always have high expectations for title tracks. And she blew our minds with this one. Reality checks are never pleasant, but NGL, LUNA went off with this one. Sonically, it goes hard, but the lyrics hit us harder.

‘BLIND’
It may be the slowest song off of the EP, but it doesn’t mean it’s not high energy. We love the early 2000s pop-rock vibes. It’s the kind of song that you sing your (broken) heart out to. It’s definitely going on our post-breakup playlist.

“I’ll tear myself apart to fit inside your heart,
but you’re not looking for a missing piece.”
‘CUT AND RUN’
Do you ever open up for a minute, and then afterwards, you try to brush it off like, “Haha, anyway! finger guns.” This is what that song feels like, coming after ‘BLIND.’ LUNA gets straight back to business and ends the EP with a bang.
