Dive Into DPR IAN’s Cinematic Universe Before Dear Insanity…!

Some people adore the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Some people love Star Wars and its sci-fi excellence. In this hive, though, we’re absolutely blown away by DPR IAN’s incredible stories! He has created a visual world that’s constantly expanding with every project, and we’re obsessed with it. The brilliant creative is releasing his next EP, Dear Insanity…, on October 6th, and we’re looking at our calendars every five minutes to make sure we’re getting closer and closer to its release date. We can’t wait to enjoy his next masterpiece!

As we can’t contain ourselves and our love for his brilliant mind, we’ve decided to show you why DPR IAN is one of our favorite geniuses ever and take you along our three of his must-watch creations. Your life is about to change with his breathtaking music and videos!

OFFICIAL MIITO MOVIE (PART 1)

This short film is the best cinematic music video we’ve ever seen. We haven’t been able to stop thinking about it ever since we watched it for the first time; it’s that good! The OFFICIAL MIITO MOVIE (PART 1) features amazing tracks from his latest album, Moodswings In To Order, and it was directed and edited by IAN himself. Every song that’s included in this short film fits its visuals in such a unique way: from the fast pacing, iconic intro with ‘Seraph,’ allowing the viewer to get absorbed into IAN’s creative world, to the suspense that builds throughout ‘1 Shot’ and ‘Mood.’ ‘Ribbon’ serves as the musical bridge of seeing MITO, the main character of IAN’s universes, develop his journey as a fallen angel.

No words will be able to capture how extraordinary this short film is, so you have to watch it ASAP! We instantly get goosebumps every time we rewatch it. If you need a first look at DPR IAN’s artistry, this is what will instantly hook you into his work!

‘Peanut Butter & Tears’

Peanut Butter & Tears‘ was the first single from Dear Insanity… that we got to enjoy after his last album. It’s so nice to add new IAN songs to our playlists and a new gem to watch on repeat! This song focuses on the growing pains that we get to experience as we fade from our childhood, slowly becoming adults. The music video showcases a special guest: Mr. Insanity, the creator of MITO. Through this introduction full of color and chaos, IAN wants us to learn Mr. Insanity’s story through his new EP, which serves as the prequel to his expanding visual universe. We can’t wait to enjoy this new chapter of his creative exploration!

‘So I Danced’

Following the cinematic look from ‘Peanut Butter & Tears,’ ‘So I Danced‘ looks like a movie that details how a criminal masterplan gets executed. It includes scenes of a bank robbery, a high-speed chase, and the first encounter between Mr. Insanity and MITO (which is crucial for IAN’s storyline). We love how the story develops in this video and the comic vibes from the visual effects! It truly makes us get into the EP’s intended message, and it reminds us of our favorite action movies. We can’t wait to enjoy the complete storyline on October 6th! In the meantime, we will be watching this video on repeat to see if we can catch more details that we could have missed the first time 👀.
