4 Songs From Neighborhoods To Get You Ready For blink-182’s New Album, ONE MORE TIME

Pop punk fans, rejoice! blink-182 announced their new album, ONE MORE TIME, which drops October 20th. This is their first album with Tom DeLonge since Neighborhoods, which was released in 2011. While we loved their last two albums, it just feels right that Tom is back. Their new single (which is also the title track) drops on Thursday, which you can pre-save. We loved ‘EDGING,’ so we’re extra excited for this one! While we wait for ONE MORE TIME, let’s revisit Neighborhoods. Here are our top favorites from the album.

‘Up All Night’

We couldn’t not mention ‘Up All Night.’ This song holds a special place in our hearts, considering it was the first blink-182 song in 8 years. We definitely got “chills” when we first heard it and were ‘Up All Night’ listening to it.

‘Ghost On The Dancefloor’

We couldn’t also not mention the first track off the album. It completely sets the tone of what’s to come. It’s a high energy song, complemented by incredible lyrics. What else could we ask for?

“Yeah, I saw your ghost tonight / It f*cking hurt like hell / I felt you here tonight / but dreams can’t all be real”

‘This Is Home’

This is definitely the most blink-esque song off the album and we love it for that. It has their elevated 2011 sound, but it still has the kind of punk lyrics and “I’m gonna tell it like it is” vibes that made us fall in love with their music from the beginning.

“Well raised in perfect families / we f*ck and fight like vagabonds / we dance like f*cking animals.”

‘Even If She Falls’

Honestly, this is the best possible way to end the album. It’s the kind of song that will get stuck in your head /pos. And we can’t get enough of the imagery in the lyrics.

“And she was like a blade of ice / like a lonely road / clearest day alive / Always sharp and cold / always beautiful / I am such a fool”
