What’s New This Week: Ally Brooke, James Blunt and More!

This is a big week you guys! So much new music from so many of our favorites! We have singles from Ally Brooke and Holly Humberstone, an EP from The Aces, and so many other incredible playlist additions, what more could we ask for?

Ally Brooke – ‘Gone To Bed’

We starting off this round-up as strong as we possibly could! Ally Brooke has blown us away with her latest single, ‘Gone To Bed!’ Now listen, we are day one fans of Ally, so we are always going to support solo projects, but truly, this feels like the music Ally was always meant to be making. 2024 is going to be her year!

Mariah Manser – ‘With A Smile’

We need more songs like ‘With A Smile’ ASAP! This song is a complete call out of the unrealistic standards placed on women in the entertainment industry, especially in epicenters like Los Angeles! Hearing a message like this along with the most incredible vocals and a killer backing track? There’s no going wrong!

Holly Humberstone – ‘Kissing In Swimming Pools’

Holly Humberstone is the artist to watch, if you’re not already paying attention now is the time to jump on board! We are just days away from Holly’s debut album, Paint My Bedroom Black, and if ‘Kissing In Swimming Pools’ is any indication this is going to be one of the best debut albums of the year! ‘Kissing In Swimming Pools’ is a haunting love song, a song all about longing to just be alone with the person you love, it’s a beautiful expression of such a complicated emotion.

Eden Rain – ‘Pet Names’

It’s not a secret, Eden Rain is a Honey Pop favorite! We have covered so many of her tracks we’ve lost count, and we plan to keep that track record going! Eden’s newest offering, ‘Pet Names,’ is unlike anything else we’ve heard from her before, the track instantly makes us want to drive through a city at night with the windows down just vibing.

James Blunt – ‘The Girl That Never Was’

We’ve been James Blunt fans since the ‘You’re Beautiful’ days, but we truly believe the James Blunt we’re talking about today is an entirely different artist. ‘That Girl That Never Was’ is an incredibly vulnerable and raw project, which makes us think that the new album, Who We Used To Be (out October 27th) is about to be a deeper look into James’s emotions than we’ve ever gotten before.

The Aces – Red Bull Records: Live Session

We are closing out this week’s new music round-up in the best way possible with a live EP from The Aces! This three-track record reminded us of exactly why we became huge fans of The Aces in the first place, their talent is so incredibly evident in every moment of every track. ‘Always Get This Way’ is somehow even better with this live version, a true indie-rock dream!
