Girli – ‘Matriarchy’
We have to say; we’re obsessed with this alt-pop track from Girli. For our sapphic readers, this one is for you!
“Look at us, we’re making our own rules. Nothing like they taught us in high school. Sapphic celebration in your bedroom, it’s so free.” Girli talks about sapphic love and how those relationships can feel like rebellion against the patriarchy. She’s here to speak out about feminism, sexuality, and identity. We’ll be listening and if you like what you’ve read so far, so should you!

Summer Soul – ‘Dear.R’
K-POP fans, this is for you. Summer Soul has been so kind to give us a double single! ‘Dear. R’ features ‘Ride’ (feat. Jueun) and ‘Ruby.’ ‘Ride’ focuses on the friendship between Summer Soul and Jueun, while ‘Ruby’ explores the unpleasant sides of love.
There’s a balance between these two tracks with “You used to be my love, used to be my world. Baby I’m just looking good like I’m on my own baby” from ‘Ruby,’ to “Don’t really care. Do me wrong or do me right” from ‘Ride.’ If you ask us, we’d have to say it’s the perfect double single drop! You’re bound to love one of these tracks so “you better run” to give them a listen.

“How did you find me, honey?” We just happen to have our ways of finding the greatest tracks! Which brings us to share this indie song, ‘The Flowers.’

Troye Sivan – ‘Got Me Started’
We have some “hot chemistry” with this song and if you enjoy synth-pop tracks, so will you! This song samples ‘Shooting Stars’ by Bag Raiders yet, Troye has still made this his own with the lyrics.
“Boy, can I be honest? Kinda miss usin’ my body. F*** it up just like this party did tonight.” Troye talks about breakups and that moment when you finally realize how many new possibilities you have! We love tracks that celebrate yourself, so this is one of our favorites for obvious reasons.
