It’s no secret that we love Emeli Sandé here at THP! When we found out she released her new single ‘All This Love,’ we ran to stream it, and it’s safe to say we’re obsessed. As always, Emeli delivered an amazing track with stunning vocals and lyrics!

The track starts with a glitch-pop beat before we’re met with Emeli’s gorgeous vocals. If you’re already familiar with her work, you know Emeli is more than just a pretty voice. Her craftsmanship in her music is incredible, and we’re left in awe each time. In this track, Emeli explores the feeling of giving so much love without it being reciprocated. When asked about the track, Emeli said this,
If we go through heartbreak, or experience unrequited love, we can end up channelling it in more destructive ways. I’m very much an all-or-nothing person, so after a relationship ends, I’m like, ‘What am I supposed to do with all this love?’ We have so much energy, so much love as human beings that if it isn’t being expelled in the right way, we’re stressed, and we’re anxious.

She delivers that message perfectly with lyrics like “Oh my God, my God, it’s building up, so what am I supposed to do with all this love?” She makes the simplest words hit so hard. Have we mentioned we’re in awe of her yet? Similarly to some of her other tracks, her vocals build up into a powerful anthem, which is shown beautifully in the music video for ‘All This Love.’ Our favorite part of this track is the way the track ends as a slow ballad; it allows a reflective period for listeners. Between the piano and the vocals, we have chills.
