Waterparks — ‘SNEAKING OUT OF HEAVEN’
If there’s one thing about us, we’re Parxies. So we’re absolutely fangirling over Waterparks’ new song. We’re gonna be real. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY is definitely an AOTY contender for us. And their new catchy, upbeat single doesn’t disappoint either. And the lyrics, “If you’re toxic / I’ll wear a hazmat” is so Parx coded.
They’ll be at When We Were Young Fest and touring the UK/EU afterward. But they just announced a North American tour, which kicks off in February 2024, and you can get tickets on October 20th.

The Menzingers — Some Of It Was True
We had their single, ‘There’s No Place In This World For Me’ on repeat and we’re very much going to have their new album on repeat too. This album has so many bangers! But if we had to choose a favorite, it would be the title track. Is it cliché to pick the title track? If it is, we don’t care. Sonically, it’s great. But we’re obsessed with the lyrics because they hit hard.

shallow pools — I Think About It All The Time
shallow pools also released a new album! And we are very much going to “think about it all the time” because it’s fantastic. If you haven’t listened to this indie pop band, you’re missing out.
‘No Good At Goodbyes’
This song, in particular, is our favorite. It’s a slow song filled with so much emotion. It’s impossible not to like this song, especially because it has such beautiful lyrics.

Rosie Darling — ‘I’m Different Now’
We’ve been Rosie Darling stans for a while now. ‘Boxes’ was one of our favorite songs of the summer and now ‘I’m Different Now’ will be one of our favorite songs of the fall. Not only are the vibes fitting for this season, but it’s about healing and self-love, which means everything to us. Be sure to pre-save her upcoming album Lanterns, which drops November 10th.
