Beartooth – The Surface
We have been chomping at the bit to get our hands on the new Beartooth album since the moment it was announced. The Surface acts as more of a diaristic album for the band, but specifically lead singer Caleb Shomo. This record is the accumulation of his experiences in his 20s and in classic Beartooth style, it’s raw, honest, and moving in every way. The band also released a music video for the track ‘I Was Alive’ to accompany the albums official release. A track all about taking advantage of the fact that you’re alive everyday in any way you can.

Have Mercy — NUMB
We have our jaws on the floor after the announcement of Have Mercy’s new album NUMB which is out everywhere on December 8th! The band also released the lead single ‘Alive,’ truly the gift that keeps on giving. Lead singer Brian Swindle had this to say about the release:
‘Alive’ is about being stuck in toxic relationships. Whether that be with friends or significant others. To me, the lyrics reflect that feeling of codependency and trouble detaching from the situations you know you shouldn’t be in.
