What is this we are hearing? New music from Petti Hendrix? And this time, it’s a cover? Well, our ears have certainly been blessed. Who can resist a good song cover? Petti Hendrix’s distinctive vocals just made us see (or more like hear) the hit single, ‘Last Night’ in a whole new light.
We’re running and adding Petti Hendrix’s version of the track to our favorites. It’s the different feel that the artist creates that has us hooked. There’s a piece of him input into the song, his own color, and that’s what makes it so charming. The only thing we’re complaining about is how short it is. We’d want to listen more to his unique vocals, please, and thank you.

‘Last Night’ is a song about an untrammeled night between two people and what comes with it. Despite the regret shown after, the lyrics hint that the story of the two is not over yet, meaning this is more than a simple black-and-white situation. What can be taken as a mistake may just turn out to be something else when explored more.
Petti Hendrix puts his powerful vocals into ‘Last Night’ to portray that experience. In addition, we also see him act out the consequences and reminiscence of the story, portrayed in the lyrics. The cover is an experience worth checking out!
