There is nothing like getting your favorite blanket and reaching for your gaming device to spend those colder fall days with your most beloved virtual characters. As the big gaming and fall enthusiasts that we are, we’ve decided to talk about our favorite cozy games and why they are a must in our list of fall activities. If you’re wondering where we are, we’re probably spending hours completing these games and disconnecting from the real world!
Stardew Valley
The queen of coziness has to be the first game of our list! No matter how much time passes, we will always return to our farm in Stardew Valley to enjoy our stormy fall days with a cup of tea and get our virtual crops. It’s such a classic game that makes us instantly happy! There are some fall staples that can’t be missed: completing the fall bundles if you haven’t yet, foraging mushrooms, and enjoying the Stardew Valley Fair and the Spirit’s Eve Festival. Be sure to get your extra coins with the seasonal crops, such as pumpkins and cranberries!
Not only can we enjoy fall on our farm, but we can also enjoy the rest of the seasons, in case you’ve been missing the sun! 😎

Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Has your Switch been calling your name to reunite with your favorite cozy game? We think that this season is the perfect time to pick up our Animal Crossing island once again (because, let’s be honest, we all have to reorganize and re-decor it). Plus, we can do many seasonal things, such as the obvious recollection of new fishes and bugs, buy fall-themed clothing, try out new Halloween costumes, prepare ourselves for the spooky festivities, and so much more! If you end up designing and creating any fall-esque spaces on your island, share them with us! We need constant inspo! 🧡

Unpacking
Moving in and out can be extremely stressful IRL, so Unpacking is helping us with those heavy boxes so that we can decorate our new homes! This cute game has no time restrictions nor high scores, so it’s up to us to take our time and place our virtual belongings anywhere. There are also so many cute little details that you will be able to notice as you keep advancing through different rooms. We find this game extremely relaxing, and we think you will love to decorate all these cute spaces as you wish!

Kinder World
We’re big on mobile gaming, as we absolutely love to play our favorite games on the go. We wanted to highlight some cozy games that are affordable and accessible to everyone, and Kinder World fits this description perfectly. This cute, free game can be downloaded to your mobile device to check out at any time, and it’s perfect to spread kindness and give you a hug when you need it the most. We love watering our virtual plants and receiving cute letters from the animals of this app! Can we stay in our little cozy world forever?

Cats & Soup
Combining our favorite things (cats and soup) in the entire world into a game was the most genius idea ever. These cats are amazing at preparing their culinary masterpieces, so we obviously cannot resist this cute game. Although it looks like a simple app to enjoy, there are so many ways to improve your kitchen. If you need any extra help, there are a ton of tutorials and tips online to make your felines the greatest chefs! Also, there are constant updates and new kitties to hire, so we will definitely be playing this game all the time! 🐱
