We spent a lot of time thinking about Niall Horan. Specifically, his music, his vocals, his performances, his face… did we say that out loud? Anyways, Niall’s Flicker especially has been on our minds lately, so we decided to share some of our favorite live performances of it!
‘This Town’ (Live, 1 Mic, 1 Take)
‘This Town’ is such a beautiful, intimate song, and somehow, it just becomes even better in this 1 Mic, 1 Take performance. Just Niall, his stunning voice, and his guitar. Which is really just how every song ever should be played.
‘Too Much To Ask’ (Live On The Today Show)
Niall Horan, the man that you are. ‘Too Much To Ask’ is a lyrical masterpiece, and we will never ever stop talking about it! Hearing Niall sing, “My shadow’s dancin’ without you for the first time. My heart is hopin’ you’ll walk right in tonight and tell me there are things that you regret.” In a live performance? We didn’t survive it, but it’s beautiful.
‘On The Loose’ (on Sounds Like Friday Night)
One thing about Niall Horan? He will make his songs ten times better live. We can picture ourselves dancing and singing along to this at The Show Live On Tour, but for now, we will keep watching this performance.
‘Flicker’ – Official Acoustic
If you thought ‘Flicker’ couldn’t get any sadder, you were mistaken. Backed by a piano, Niall has given us the most beautiful, perfect version of ‘Flicker.’ Hearing him sing, “still a flicker of hope that you first gave to me, please don’t leave.” It hurts but in the best way.
‘Slow Hands’ – Live on The Voice Australia
This list wouldn’t be complete without this hit! Dare we say it was pop-perfection? Either way, This performance is a great reminder of how far Niall has come! From competing on X-Factor to performing on The Voice, and now being a judge. We’re so proud of you, Niall.
