That’s especially true when it comes to ‘dancinwithsomebawdy,’ a bouncy song that sees Eric letting go of an unhealthy relationship and letting us dance it off with him. It has such a free, exciting energy that we can’t get enough of – which makes sense since returning to that fun feeling is one of Eric’s main goals now that he’s established himself.

We love how the production and upbeat feeling contrast the frustration and sadness you’d typically expect from a song tackling this subject. It really mirrors the bait-and-switch that seemed to happen with this girl and her motives, and shows off just what a clever artist Eric is.
