We are currently having withdrawal symptoms with minimal Harry content and no more Love On Tour. Dressing up extravagantly, jumping around the stage, the whale, falling on stage, the fan interactions with all the signs, the boot scoot! Since we are desperate without our daily dose of Harry Styles, we are trying to get Harry into every aspect of our lives as we can. We thought you might be in the same boat as us so here are outfits you can wear in your daily life inspired by Harry Styles’ Fine Line songs!
‘Golden’
The first thought that enters our brain when we listen to this song is that this is definitely the vibe of a sunshine person. Someone bright, sweet, happy, and ‘Golden.’ Because of that, we think a yellow midi dress with white sneakers would be perfect. You can even take it a step further and add some yellow accessories such as a matching yellow bow in your hair.
‘Watermelon Sugar’
The summer song. Even four years later, no song can replace its position as the summer song. But since it is a summer song, we have to go with summer wear. We had two ideas in mind that we could not decide between. One is black shorts and a top with watermelon slices all over it. Or, black shorts, a red top, and dark green shoes to give the watermelon coolers some representation. Which one do you guys prefer?
This could easily be swapped for colder weather with a sweater or cardigan with watermelon slices on it or a warm red sweater, cardigan, or sweatshirt paired with some black fleece leggings or just black jeans.
‘Adore You’
We drew a little inspo from the music video for this song. Harry’s dark orange overall with his dark blue hat. We thought dark orange/red-brown overalls paired with a dark blue sweater/t-shirt/sweatshirt underneath would be the best outfit for ‘Adore You.’ And the outfit works for either weather just by switching up the length of the t-shirt and overalls!
‘Lights Up’
Another outfit inspired by yet another music video. And once again, inspired by one of Harry’s outfits. We think light blue jeans with a white t-shirt under a silver/bluish-grey flannel/shirt that is left unbuttoned would be perfect. And the silver/bluish-grey can perfectly represent a bright light lighting up the spotlight that is on you (in a good way).
‘Cherry’
For some reason, we can picture only one outfit inspired by ‘Cherry.’ A black crop top (or T-shirt) with a pair of cherries at the top center (or not. Whichever you prefer). This would be paired with some black bottoms and a cherry red leather jacket. Don’t ask us why we imagine this particular outfit because we have no explanation for why.
‘Falling’
Another song, another music video, another outfit. Drawing inspo from Harry’s outfit, we think a white flowy dress would be a really good choice. If dresses are not your style, you can copy Harry’s outfit. Just find a white puffy shirt or blouse and pair it with some brown pants and there you go! You have a ‘Falling‘-inspired outfit!
‘To Be So Lonely’
We are going off the feeling of being lonely here. Which means wearing a comfy, depression outfit. Sweatpants and a hoodie, sweatshirt, or sweater. Just anything that you would feel comfortable in while lying in bed alone all day long. “To be so lonely” indeed.
Damn, we are sorry for that change and drop in the mood.
‘She’
‘She’ gives it person vibes. The image that pops into our head is one of those influencers wearing baggy blue jeans, a white t-shirt, and an oversized leather jacket.
For some reason, this outfit just screams ‘She.’ And anyone would look super cool wearing this outfit.
‘Sunflower, Vol. 6’
No, we are not going to say wear something with sunflowers on it. Instead, wear a yellow t-shirt/crop top and pair it with dark brown corduroy flared jeans. Now, you are the sunflower! (Hey, like we said, at least it isn’t something with sunflowers on it).
‘Canyon Moon’
Anything moon-themed would be the best. If the song title was not a dead giveaway already. A silver/grey top with some black or even light blue pants. And it would be better if the top had a tiny moon embroidered on it. In the previous song, you were a sunflower. So now just be the moon.
‘Treat People With Kindness’
Would it be dumb if we said just wear something with a rainbow on it or something that said “be kind”? Yes? We agree.
But honestly, given the message behind this song, we say wear whatever you want! Wear what you love, what you think looks best on you. Do not care about what anyone else would like or think. Wear an outfit that makes you feel good and you will have definitely embodied this song perfectly!
‘Treat people with kindness.’ But also, treat yourself with kindness.
‘Fine Line’
The best song to ever exist.
This album has a special place in our hearts. But this song is even more special. Nothing could ever make us feel the way listening to ‘Fine Line’ does. To match with the album, any outfit involving pastel blue and pink will be inspired by this song. The blue represents the blues vibes of this song and the pink represents the love we have for the song, for Harry, and for each other.
But if you need some ideas, we have a few. Light blue jeans with a pastel pink sweatshirt, hoodie, t-shirt, or cardigan. Or switch the colors around if you are feeling spontaneous (Harry would be proud). Or a pastel blue dress with a pastel pink cardigan or the other way around. There are so many options! So be creative and wear any pastel pink and blue combination you can think of and find!
