English singer-songwriter Declan McKenna is back to blow us all away with his third album, What Happened To The Beach?, set to release on February 9. After the absolute success that was Zeros, released in 2020, we couldn’t be more excited to see what else Declan has in store for us.

So far, we’ve heard three singles from What Happened To The Beach?, ‘Sympathy,’ ‘Nothing Works,’ and ‘Elevator Hum.’ And frankly, we cannot choose a favorite between the three. What we can say, though, is that by far our favorite thing he’s done so far is the album trailer, which you can watch below. It’s fun, different and definitely makes us look forward to hearing the whole album.

What Happened To The Beach? will be released through Columbia Records and was produced by Gianluca Buccellati in Los Angeles. So far, it looks like the new album will be different from Declan’s previous works, but will still maintain the uniqueness we’ve come to love from him. You can pre-order his new album here and be ready for the big day.
