It’s not a secret that here at THP, we’re huge Alec Benjamin fans! All of his latest releases have had us obsessed, and now that his new single ‘Pick Me’ is out, we’ve been thinking about all of the reasons we love Alec. There are, of course, far too many to count, but we chose three to share with you!

His Songs Tell A Story
We’ve talked about this before, but after watching the ‘Pick Me’ music video, we have to say it again! His lyrics craft a perfect story in each track, and they translate to the screen so well. The way Alec describes the different ways he could lie about himself on dating platforms in ‘Pick Me’ is paired with perfect visuals in the music video. Each person’s listed interests and what they’re looking for are shown similarly to how it would be on a dating app, and we just adore the details here.
He Loves His Fans
One of our favorite things about Alec is that no matter how popular he gets, he still loves his fans! From interacting with them on social media to gifting tickets to his concerts, he’s shown time and time again how much he cares. He’s even gone on Omegle to sing & chat with fans, which we find so sweet!
He’s Honest In His Music
So many people find it easy to connect with Alec’s music, and part of that is because of how raw and honest he is! He’s covered topics from mental health to heartbreak, making us feel less alone when we listen to his music. If you ask us, there’s an Alec song for every situation, which makes his discography even better. From ‘I Sent My Therapist To Therapy’ to ‘Pick Me’ you’ll see yourself in his music!
