We can’t believe we are actually saying this: two of K-Pop’s most beloved vocalists of all time have collaborated! Soloist IU and BTS’ V have released ‘Love wins all,’ and we pretty much guarantee you couldn’t name a K-Pop duo more iconic than this.
Both artists have more star power than most planets, so to see their combined talents is…honestly? A little overwhelming. The two worked together on IU’s new single ‘Love wins all,’ and if that as a concept wasn’t enough on its own to blow your mind, wait until you see the music video.

The song honestly couldn’t be better, but what else would you expect from an IU comeback? The key change gave us chills, and the song as a whole reduced us to tears. And the only music video that could do this song justice is one with the level of cinematography that we get in ‘Love wins all’ mv!
‘Love wins all’ Music Video
In the ‘Love wins all’ mv, IU and V play two lovers in an apocalyptic universe. On the run from a giant flying cube(?), they discover a video camera that allows them to see an alternate world where they are uninjured and things are less…end-of-the-world. We don’t wanna give too many spoilers if you haven’t checked it out just yet, but we will say that the acting is stunning. Get these two in a drama together ASAP.
Even at face value, the story in this MV is enough to stop you in your tracks (it certainly did that to us). And then, you contextualize it in the real world, and the song’s message becomes even more potent and powerful.
