If you haven’t been introduced to Zolita yet, we’re about to rock your world! She’s one of our favorite artists here at the hive, and we’re just buzzing to introduce you to her. The timing for this is incredible, as she recently announced her next studio album, Queen Of Hearts, which means there will be even more music from her to fall in love with on May 31st! Til then, presave the album here and check out these Zolita songs!
‘All Girls Go To Heaven’
Starting off with her newest track, ‘All Girls Go To Heaven’ is an anthemic song about finding acceptance in the LGBTQ+ community and, as Zolita said, “pure queer joy.” We love this track and can’t wait til she hits the road again so we can sing along to “Isn’t it fun being grown up and young? Getting to fall for whoever the f*ck you want.” live!
‘Bloodstream’
‘Bloodstream’ is to Zolita as this article is to us, a confession of love. In this track, she explores the feeling of loving someone so deeply that the only way you can feel close enough to them is by literally being inside them. Her stunning vocals paired with a late 2000s rom-com vibe makes this the perfect song to soundtrack any day where you’re feeling lovesick!
‘Ashley’
Did someone say lovesick? It was us, we just needed an excuse to talk about what might be the cutest love song ever! ‘Ashley’ is an acoustic confession of the purest love, Zolita sings about feeling so “sick it’s so sappy.” This song deserves all the love, especially when it has lyrics like “maybe our best is less than perfect, but, I’m sure that this is worth it.”
‘Single In September’
If you’re not in your lovesick era, don’t worry Zolita still has you covered! If you’ve ever been in a relationship where things just weren’t playing out the way you imagined, this is the song for you. ‘Single In September’ is part of a trilogy created by Zolita, telling a sapphic love story. She sings about having a great summer with someone just for it all to crash down by fall and everything she wishes they would say “So why wait, when we could have forever?“
If you can’t tell yet, we adore Zolita and know you will too! We can’t wait until Queen Of Hearts is released but for now, we’ll be preparing for release day by streaming these songs.
