Can you believe it’s time for another TXT world tour?! It feels like ACT: Sweet Mirage has only just ended! With just a few weeks before their first comeback of 2024, Minisode 3: TOMORROW, the 4th-gen icons have announced their new world tour, ACT: Promise, with the US and Seoul dates already revealed!
Kicking off with three shows in KSPO Dome in Seoul from May 3rd, ACT: PROMISE will then head to the US for 11 shows across eight cities, including a two-night stint at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena and two nights at New York’s Madison Square Garden. While it’s only the US that has tour dates announced right now, MOA can rest easy knowing that more dates will be announced in the foreseeable future!
So far, TXT’s tours have been nothing short of phenomenal, with incredible performances showing off the strengths of all five members. As we get closer to ACT: PROMISE, we’ve been thinking of what songs from their hefty discography we’d love to see on the setlist, and here’s what we are hoping for…
‘Back For More’
‘Back For More‘ is undoubtedly one of our favorite releases from TXT in 2024, and we are so hyped to potentially see it live on tour! We know we’ll be getting the TXT version of this for most of the tour, but hear us out: there is every possibility of Anitta joining them as a special guest to perform at one of the tour dates!
‘Ghosting’
Even three and a half years on since its release, ‘Ghosting’ still manages to be one of the most beautiful b-sides TXT has released! We would truly swoon if Tubatu chose to add it to the ACT: PROMISE setlist. It’s such a magical song that upkeeps the high energy of the crowd while feeling quite airy almost like you’re floating while listening to it, and we think it would sound amazing in between a ballad and an energetic song.
‘Lonely Boy (The tattoo on my ring finger)’
We know there’ll be a large focus on Minisode 3: TOMORROW this tour, but we’re honestly still in love with the other minisodes and would love to get a few songs from them. If we had to pick a b-side from Minisode 2: Thursday’s Child, we’d truly love to keep ‘Lonely Boy (The tattoo on my ring finger)’ on the setlist for ACT: PROMISE. The vocals are just unmatched on this, tbh.
‘Magic Island’
If we’re going along with the theme of “promise,” then ‘Magic Island’ would be a great choice, if you ask us. Promising to remember the special place between TXT and MOA, we think now would be a wonderful time to bring it back to fit the concept. Plus it’s nostalgic and will guarantee to get us in our feelings!
‘Blue Spring’
TXT debuted this song at ACT: SWEET MIRAGE ahead of the song’s release on The Name Chapter: FREEFALL, and it was one of the best moments between TXT and MOA ever. It’s such a beautiful song written about the fandom and artists’ relationship, and it feels right to bring it back in the name of promises. Plus, now we’re a lot more confident in knowing the lyrics (for those of us who went spoiler-free ahead of our shows last year), so we think it can be even more beautiful.
‘Free Falling’
We know this is an OST for TXT’s webtoon The Star Seekers, but we love the song so much we would give anything to witness it live! Also, we know we’d be reaching but imagine if they dressed like each of their characters and we got to witness Star One perform?! It’s a big thing to wish for but stranger things have happened, so we’ll keep manifesting.
All Of Minsode 3: TOMORROW
Since the last two minisodes were both just five songs long, the odds are this will be the case for Minsode 3: TOMORROW. Therefore, it’s not too much to ask if all five songs are on the setlist. We haven’t heard it yet, but we just know it’s going to be phenomenal and we are so pumped to get to witness it live!
