YOUNG POSSE always seem to find themselves trending, especially on TikTok. It first started with ‘MACARONI CHEESE,’ which we all know is super catchy, and now we have ‘XXL’ from their latest EP by the same name. They’re already on the right track as XXL is pulling in new fans left and right, and for very good reasons.
XXL EP
XXL is their second EP since their debut back in October, and y’all, we highly recommend checking it out, especially if you want to know what kind of vibe YOUNG POSSE are going for.

We wanna first talk about the EP cover being a homage to the XXL magazine; it really wraps the whole thing together. We also know this is only their second EP, but we can tell this is our favorite work by the group. It has shown growth from every angle from previous releases to this one. That doesn’t mean that we didn’t love any past track because, let’s be honest, we did, but this one is just so much more different. Each track on the EP can stand on its own, having the chance of thriving as lead singles while complementing one another. There is so much we love about XXL EP, but let us tell you a couple of standouts for us.
‘DND (Feat. BM of KARD)’
It’s honestly so cool that they got BM on a track because we are huge BM/KARD fans! We also think he fits so perfectly into ‘DND,’ and now it makes us think about what other YOUNG POSSE tracks the other members of KARD would be a perfect fit for.
Our favorite vocals go to…
Our favorite vocals on a track have to go to ‘Skyline.’ If you want to check out YOUNG POSSE’s impressive vocals, we highly recommend this track. Each girl really shined on this one vocally; it has moved up on our list of favorite YOUNG POSSE tracks.
Favorite Track
Y’all should’ve seen this coming. ‘XXL’ was an obvious standout to us; there is just so much to love about this track. We were immediately pulled in from the beginning of the song, especially with the transition. They paid homage to Seo Taiji and Boys with a sample from their popular track ‘Come Back Home,’ which is super iconic, then add Sunhye leading the pack, and boom, our favorite track. Everyone stood out, and this is a perfect track to listen to if you really want to get into YOUNG POSSE.
