The 5th generation is already packing up with all these amazing groups taking over our playlists. And NOWADAYS is the newest addition!
CUBE Entertainment had been teasing the debut of a new boy group for a while now, and we knew it would only be a matter of time. On April 2nd, Hyeonbin, Yoon, Yeonwoo, Jinhyuk, and Siyun made their debut as a 5-member group, NOWADAYS, with their self-titled single album. And here’s everything you need to know about these songs!
‘NOW’
‘NOW’ is the perfect introductory song to NOWADAYS as a group. This opening song is bold, loud, and full of confidence. It sets the tone for the entire release as well as the group as a whole. ‘NOW’ has incredible rap verses and an electro drop that feels unique and addicting. With its chanted chorus, ‘NOW’ goes hard. It is the perfect hype song to make you feel invincible.
‘OoWee’
This is the main star of the show. The title track has as much energy as the opening track but takes it to another level. ‘OoWee’ catches your eye even with just its name, and the song itself lives up to the feeling the title gives us. Once again, the rap verses shine all throughout the song – they’re impactful and bold. The chanted chorus, followed by a pop melody, makes ‘OoWee’ incredibly catchy. It’s able to mix a dark vibe with something bright, fun, and unserious. ‘OoWee’ truly gets better with every single listen.
‘TICKET’
The final track in their debut is ‘TICKET,’ which takes us away from the sound of the first two tracks. ‘TICKET’ showcases their bright and fun side, leaving aside the boldness and confidence we saw before. This refreshing and laid-back track is all about the excitement of traveling the world and seeing life as an adventure. It’s a serious mood booster and a great way to show NOWADAYS’ versatility in their music.
NOWADAYS debuted only a few days ago, but they’ve already given us track videos, behind-the-scenes content, and so much more! They’re even featured in the Men Noblesse April edition, and so much more is yet to come. So it’s clear that NOWADAYS are ready for the ride, and we’re so excited to see where it takes them.
