Loossemble debuted back in September, and ever since then, we haven’t gotten over their self-title mini-album and ‘Sensitive.’ Loossemble even made it into The Honey Pop’s Top 50 Albums of 2023, and there’s a reason for it. But now it’s the day to add even more Loossemble music to our playlists! The girls are back with One Of A Kind, and its title track, ‘Girls’ Night,’ builds up on the sound we already loved and transports us to another galaxy!
‘Girls’ Night’
There’s no better way to describe ‘Girls’ Night’ than by saying this song was written with a glittery pink gel pen. Its retro production and use of synth make ‘Girls’ Night’ feel so special and magical. Loossemble’s new song literally takes you to another galaxy. It’s fun, girly, addictive, and filled with great energy about overcoming all your struggles, insecurities, and roughness of the world. ‘Girls’ Night’ gets better, more powerful, and more empowering with every single listen. Our favorite part is, hands down, the last chorus – the vocals, the production, the feeling comes to a climax, and it’s incredible. Everything about this song is gorgeous.
The vibes of the music video are seriously immaculate. We expected something like it after ‘Sensitive,’ but they outdid themselves. The aesthetics and visuals for the music video are absolutely gorgeous and captivating. And, it helps give off the vibe of unity and joy from ‘Girls’ Night.’ Loossemble take us to their worlds with this new title track, and we’re loving it.
One Of A Kind
There’s no denying Loossemble’s self-titled mini-album is perfect. So when we say One Of A Kind might be our favorite Loossemble mini-album, you know it says it all. One Of A Kind is nothing but perfect music – and here’s a track by track.
‘Moonlight’
‘Moonlight’ is a gorgeous, softer song that falls back in the retro and galactic feel of the title track. The twists the song takes in the chorus make it even more memorable. With its enchanting pop melodies, ‘Moonlight’ touches our heartstrings with its beautiful and heart-warming lyrics.
‘Boomerang’
The second b-side has an entirely different vibe. ‘Boomerang’ is a fun track overflowing with confidence. This more hip-hop-influenced track is the perfect feel-good song and the brightest song in One Of A Kind.
‘He Said I Said’
Now, if you’re like us and still are obsessed with ‘Sensitive,’ ‘He Said I Said’ will probably be one of your favorite songs from One Of A Kind. This love confession song is quirky, fun, and cheeky in the best way possible. With the fantastic guitar riff throughout the song, ‘He Said I Said’ is simply a great pop track that we could listen on loop for hours.
‘Truman Show’
Yves is back in Loossemble’s credits, along with Go Won, and they gave us one of the highlights of One Of A Kind: ‘Truman Show.’ This soft pop song is full of emotions and heartbreak, and it gives us the best pre-chorus and the most beautiful pop melodies. The song is about feeling lost and lied to after a relationship ends, like finding out your whole life has been a lie, like in the iconic movie that serves its name to the song.
‘Starlight’
We come to an emotional ending with ‘Starlight’—and it’s the perfect closure to such a flawless mini-album. ‘Starlight’ is full of hope, and its chorus gives us chills every single time. It’s about someone’s support bringing you hope and strength to keep going—so yes, this one is, of course, the perfect representative of the relationship between Loossemble and C. Loo.
Loossemble had a perfect debut and set the bar incredibly high for themselves. But they went way beyond expectations so effortlessly. One Of A Kind is proof that no one is doing it quite like Loossemble, and if this is only their first comeback, not even the sky is the limit. They’re clearly ready to take us to other galaxies.
