5 AB6IX B-Sides That Steal The Spotlight

We at THP love celebrating artists and their releases. K-Pop always catches our attention with the appointed title tracks for each debut or comeback. But what about the other tracks that come with those albums? We wanted to put the spotlight on some incredible b-sides, and the group we decided to highlight through this? The incredible AB6IX, yes! It was definitely hard to narrow it down to only five picks but we did our best. Curious about our choices? ‘1, 2, 3,’ let’s check them out!

‘RED UP’

We’re starting with a real scene-stealer. Have you listened to ‘RED UP?’ Have you seen AB6IX perform this B-side? It’s a real treat and if you ask us why, we know you haven’t watched the stages, which needs to be fixed ASAP. This song is such a great combination when you want to enjoy the group’s vocals while loosening up and vibing to the chorus. 

‘SURREAL’

Continuing the treat train, we have something so unreal for you. AB6IX outdid themselves with, well, everything about this song. ‘SURREAL’ is high on our favorite list, with its dreamy yet quite powerful sound and atmosphere. And, when we watch the choreography of this song, we are truly in awe: jaws dropped, eyes focused, and staring so as not to miss any detail. It’s that incredible.

‘Sucker for your love’

Differing a bit from the powerful choreo tracks, we have to give the spotlight to another of our favorites: ‘Sucker for your love.’ Don’t be fooled: we may say we are differing, but this song leaves a pretty strong impression, and it’s thanks to AB6IX’s passionate vocals. They pull us in with the very first notes and keep us captivated all the way to the end and even after, leaving us wanting to replay this song over and over.

‘ILY (I LOVE YOU)’

Need more of the sweet AB6IX vocals? The guys got you covered, and ‘ILY (I LOVE YOU)’ is the perfect example. Written and composed by the lovely Donghyun, are we even surprised the song is this cute? And so is its special self-cam music video. Our hearts are full and warm every time we listen to this B-side, and they feel complete whenever we watch its video clip.

‘BLAZE’

It truly was hard deciding how to end this. AB6IX just have that many good B-sides that we want to talk about all of them. But we really think ‘BLAZE’ deserves to be here. The song makes us feel goosebumps as we listen to it, and we are truly grateful that lives of this track exist. The presence the members have, the high notes, the energy… the group really knows how to impress us!
