Summer is just in our sights, and we’re hunting for our next beach romance. (It’d be an impossible task to pick our favorite one.) Today, we’re highlighting Lori Foster’s latest adult romance novel, The Love Shack!

The Love Shack continues Lori Foster’s Indiana Summers series, the third book after The Honeymoon Cottage and The Little Flower Shop. All three books take place in Cemetery, Indiana, a friendly small town made for sparking new romances.

Lori Foster’s The Love Shack follows the story of Berkeley Carr and Lawson Salder, two people who left their hometown hoping to start over with a new life and reputation. We had a blast reading The Love Shack, and here’s why!

Berkeley And Lawson’s Relationship

If you know anything about THP, it’s that we love reading about healthy relationships! Like yes, give us all the trust, communication, patience, security, and understanding. We’ll eat up every time, just like we did with Berkeley and Lawson’s relationship! Lawson already knows about Berkeley’s scandalous past, yet he cares about her all the same, if not even more. And Berkeley finds it so easy to open up to Lawson despite having sworn off men for over a decade.

The Supporting Cast

We loved everyone we met in the small town of Cemetery, Indiana, from Betty to Saul to Kathleen, the mannequin. Not only did Berkeley and Lawson find love in The Love Shack, but so did another pair of characters. Lark Penny and Oliver Roth had a rocky start because they were both newcomers and trying to find their place. But they both surprised us with their character development, especially after we learned about their respective lives before moving to the Cemetery.
