We’re lucky enough to be in a moment in the scene where new music is kickin’ butts and taking names. We’ve found so many new favorites this week in the hardcore-adjacent scenes, from Pale Waves ‘Perfume’ to Metallicas Fortnite concert. Which only made it easier for us to round up what we’ve been moshing to in our hive this week! We could sit here and tell you more and more about what’s been buzzing in the scene, but we’d rather spend our time gushing about these new releases instead! Let’s go!
Autumn Kings — ‘Hellbound’
There isn’t one genre that could encompass the sounds that Autumn King dives into within their music. ‘Hellbound’ is another example of how their genre is simply: musical excellence. This track is infectious down to the bone, and we’re already working on learning it word-for-word!

TWINFLAME — ‘GOOD GIRLS GO 2 HEAVEN’
Where do we even begin with TWINFLAME? Not only is this band of our literal dreams, but when we say they bring everything to their music, we mean it. The music video for their new single ‘GOOD GIRLS GO 2 HEAVEN’ is one of our favorite videos we’ve seen in a minute. Making it a news segment anchored by Chris Olsen himself was the perfect touch, we can’t lie. If you need us, we’re manifesting a TWINFLAME world domination in 2024!

Metallica — Fortnite Takeover
Okay, so what if this isn’t a single or album release? How could we not talk about one of the biggest metal bands of all time taking center stage across Fortnite? Hearing classics like ‘Enter Sandman’ or ‘For Whom The Bell Tolls’ in our comfort game platform is a level of bliss we didn’t know we could hit!

Void Of Vision — ‘Gamma Knife’
Void Of Vision has this way of scratching something deep inside of our brains we didn’t even know it needed to be scratched before we heard them for the first time. ‘Gamma Knife’ is everything we’ve come to love from them and more, too. Calling All Captains – ‘wallflower’
There’s something about a pop-punk/hardcore band hybrid that immediately makes us obsessed to our core. And Calling All Captains always hit the mark on everything we look for in those kinds of bands! ‘wallflower’ is not only really us-coded, but it’s also the kind of pop-punk song we’ve been itching for lately. Their new EP (e)motion sickness is out everywhere on July 19th. And of course, we’ve got our own countdown started!
