It’s been a great year to be a Something Corporate fan. They’ve reunited. We got to see them at When We Were Young Fest. They’re currently on their US headlining Out Of Office tour. But now, we have new music from Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness and Something Corporate! This is an absolute dream come true for us.

‘Death Grip’
We’re gonna be real. We weren’t entirely sure what an Andrew x SoCo song would sound like. But they beyond delivered. We love the vibe of this song. ‘Death Grip’ is an easy going, lighthearted track that both old and new SoCo fans will love. As always, there’s fantastic lyricism in their songs. They have cool lyrics like, “If you’re letting gravity, it’s working to feel inspiring in a ways,” But it’s immediately followed by, “(Jesus Christ that was stupid as this could get)” which shows that they’re all just having fun and that’s truly what matters. It reminds us of our interview with them at When We Were Young Fest, where they were all just having a good time and we love to see it.
It’s the perfect song to listen to this summer with the windows down, as seen in the music video. You can watch it below!
How stoked are you about their new single, ‘Death Grip?’ Do you already have tickets to their Out Of Office tour? Let us know in the comments, on Facebook, Instagram, or by tweeting us @thehoneypop!
