Once a CHOICE There’s No Going Back ‘Anymore,’ A.C.E Are ‘Just Better’

Ever since A.C.E started getting back from their military service last year, we’ve been spoiled left and right with new releases. The guys have been busy with their comebacks and constant single drops, not to mention they quickly jumped onto the tour train. CHOICE worldwide have been having the time of their lives meeting with their favorites once again. And it feels like the group always has something ready for us. This September, A.C.E dropped not one but two special singles, ‘Anymore’ and ‘Just Better.’ And, yes, we don’t think we’ll be over them for quite a while (if ever).

These two songs preset completely different vibes, making them quite good indicators of A.C.E‘s versatile style. Naturally, we wanted to bring the spotlight on them and further emphasize just how well the group tackles any style. And this is just a small taste of what they have under their belt. What they offer in the future? We just have to wait and see, but we know it will be good. For now, let’s dive in and appreciate the work put into these masterpieces.

‘Anymore’

A.C.E first decided to make us cry with the emotional ‘Anymore.’ Hearing that gentle tune as soon as the song began prepared us immediately for something that would play with our heartstrings. Perfect, smooth vocals make the song shine so brightly. And the lyrics are how they capture our full focus.

‘Anymore’ shares a strong longing and the regret that comes when it seems like we lost a significant someone. Our hearts break at the lines during the chorus: being so close yet feeling like those 14 steps are the hardest. A.C.E bring the feeling of having nothing holding them back anymore, and it’s time to be brave in order to take that seemingly last chance.

‘Just Better’

With ‘Just Better,’ A.C.E tackle a much livelier sound and offer a fun experience. Quite different from ‘Anymore,’ right? This full English single has us smiling from start to finish and even after. That feeling of happiness is doubled when we watch the recording sketch video. Just seeing the guys play around brings us a rush of joy.

The cheerful single has us in a chokehold with playful lyrics like “Like a boyfriend but just better.” Who expected that A.C.E would give us a song, singing confidently about being better than a boyfriend? Honestly, we’re hooked and can’t get enough of this release. You may find us singing at the top of our lungs at the THP headquarters. But really, if you aren’t doing the same already, what have you been up to? This is your next favorite song, and it’s just better.
