Knowing a new Arcane season is around the corner is already enough to get us all excited about it. But it’s even more exciting when you think about the incredible soundtrack that will be released with it. Season 1 brought us insanely good songs like Bea Miller‘s ‘Playground,’ PVRIS and MIYAVI’s ‘Snakes,’ and Imagine Dragons‘ ‘Enemy.’ So we knew this new season would bring more big and amazing names and unforgettable songs to accompany this iconic and long-awaited show’s amazing animation and key scenes. And we weren’t wrong…
Arcane is starting on the best of the best with the release of ‘Come Play,’ a collaboration between artists we never even dared to dream of seeing together: Stray Kids, Young Miko, and Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello. All three artists are huge and come from different backgrounds, genres, and inspirations. ‘Come Play’ is able to combine all of that to create already one of the best songs for Arcane.

his new song is intense, unapologetic, loud, and full of confidence yet struggle and resilience. And by being all of this, it highlights the best attributes of each of its artists. Starting with Felix and Changbin giving us luring raps back to back, it’s enough to have us on the edge of our seats. The chorus absolutely explodes with intense and impressive vocals full of resilience and power—ko’s flow blends seamlessly into the song as she adds her unique and irreplaceable aura to ‘Come Play.’ truly, no words can explain how hard this chorus hits. It is not only powerful but simply addictive and infectious. Young Miko‘s flow blends seamlessly into the song as she adds her unique and irreplaceable aura to ‘Come Play.’ While you may think the song’s first half goes hard, Tom Morello elevates it to a whole other level, especially in the bridge, with his guitar solo.
The blend of all these artists was simply pure genius. You have Stray Kids‘ undeniable force, Young Miko‘s incredible presence, and Tom Morello’s (literally) award-winning guitar skills in one song and in the best way possible. Each of their artistry and charisma adds something so unique, and they blend to give a song that is literally perfect for Arcane. We can already picture what kind of scene it can be featured in, and we already know it’ll make the song even better. With a song as good as this one, you wouldn’t think it’s possible, but it’s Arcane we’re talking about after all…
And you think ‘Come Play’ is only the first taste of Season 2’s soundtrack… This is truly only the beginning. We still have many songs yet to come our way from artists like Twenty One Pilots, Stromae, Ashnikko, and so many more. Season 1 had some unforgettable songs, but with the release of ‘Come Play,’ we can say with no doubt that this soundtrack will top the last one—and the bar was already incredibly high. And without a doubt, it’s also already one of Stray Kids‘ best OSTs, and the competition is tough. Yet, here we are. ‘Come Play’ is a masterpiece beyond words.
