EVNNE have had an incredible year so far; that’s an understatement. Right from having their first comeback in January followed by a second one in June, earning their first win, going on tour as a group for the first time during the summer, and so many more milestones. EVNNE has been everywhere this year, and we’ve been loving to see every second of it.
Earlier this month, EVNNE held their first fan meeting in Japan, EVNNEING-PRESSO, and one of the most special things about it was the reveal of their first ever Japanese song, ‘景色 (KESHIKI).’ This song is unique in EVNNE‘s discography for more than one reason and is a great addition to their catalog. And now it’s here for us to loop as a digital single.

EVNNE have done dark concepts, and they’ve done bright concepts—they can do it all. This song, however, is definitely on the brighter side of their discography. Knowing that Keita participated in the making of the song and seeing how dear it is to him was enough to make us love the song, but it is even more than that. ‘景色 (KESHIKI)’ brings so much joy and energy with its upbeat pop-rock sound. It is extremely J-Pop-coded. This song could easily be used as an opening OST for some of the most energetic and bright animes—we’ve edited it; it fits so well. ‘景色 (KESHIKI)’ has such a refreshing sound that it brings you right back to summer, to the sun hitting you on the face yet with the wind giving you that breath you need. It feels like running through a field of grass. It makes life seem easy and happy with how much joy it holds in its sound and everything they convey through the lyrics and their vocals. It’s simply another amazing song from EVNNE.
EVNNE has been killing it this year, with their music, their content, and the constant hard work. It has been non-stop, and it’s been rewarding and incredible. ‘景色 (KESHIKI)’ is truly a gift to the fans, and it is here to bring nothing but happiness and joy. It feels like the perfect way to remember and cherish everything 2024 has brought to EVNNE and the connection they have with their fans. This has been the most special year, and ‘景色 (KESHIKI)’ is here as a time capsule for it all.
