What better way to open 2025 than with BSS? Aren’t we right? It’s always a party when BSS shows up. If you don’t know, BSS is Hoshi, DK, and Seungkwan from K-POP group SEVENTEEN, and if you’re new here, we are big fans of SEVENTEEN, including their many sub-units. Anywhoo, BSS has started 2025 off with a bang with their second single album, TELEPARTY.
TELEPARTY includes three tracks, ‘CBZ (Prime time),’ ‘Happy Alone,’ and ‘Love Song.’ What we love about the tracks in the album is that they all have different vibes. It truly describes how the feelings you have at a party start off with a faster beat, and then, with each track, we start slowing down and winding down. We also loved that any of the three tracks could’ve been the leading track. They each hold a lot of weight because they are just that good; each delivers a different message while still representing BSS and their positivity. But, we will say the leading track they decided on, ‘CBZ (Prime time),’ was our favorite from the album. It really gives those party vibes and is really just what people need in these times; plus, it is a great followup from everyones favorite 2023 track, ‘Fighting.’
We always love to make things fun, much like BSS, so we had a thought: depending on your favorite TELEPARTY, this is what you should bring and contribute to your next party. So enjoy this silly idea, as we give more love to each track.
‘CBZ (Prime time)’
‘CBZ (Prime time)’ is a necessity in everyone’s lives, so you would 100% be bringing some kind of chip dip. Whether that’s bean dip, salsa, nacho cheese, vegan ranch, or a French Onion dip, you know what? Even better? We know you’ll probably make it yourself and bring more than needed so everyone can take some home. Everyone will love you even more than they already do. Now, if you want to bring something closer to the lyrics, we recommend sparkling water. It’s your choice, but we highly recommend the salsa.
‘Happy Alone’
If your favorite track happens to be ‘Happy Alone,’ we first want to say, “You’re doing amazing sweetie.” And look, maybe you’re thinking you don’t know if you even want to go to this party, but if you want to start making your way off the wall, we honestly suggest easing into it and bringing good old fashion potato chips – can never go wrong with that. But, if it happens to be a small party with strictly friends, we can totally imagine you bringing a platter of everyone’s favorite snacks.
‘Love Song’
Has ‘Love Song’ been added to a sad playlist of yours? Yeah, we figured, honestly, we would say to relax at home, but we think you need a good hangout with friends. You need a pick me up, and what better way than with the people who love you, your friends! So we think you should bring decorations, show up a little earlier than everyone else will, and help decorate with your host friend. Get in as much time as you can with your friends, and you’ll be leaving happier, especially if you get interactive, cute, or silly decorations.
