It’s time to lock in because we’re watching Eddie Benjamin with a close eye these days.
You may know Eddie’s name from Justin Bieber’s 2022 Justice Tour, in which he opened for a handful of dates and put on a stellar performance! Recently, he helped write and produce for our favorite artists like WILLOW and Shawn Mendes, but now he’s here to make a name for himself on his own time. Eddie is truly music’s new mastermind—he plays guitar and piano and can sing like it’s nobody’s business. If we haven’t captured your attention yet, take this as our best attempt at convincing you to become an Eddie Benjamin fan (and we know we won’t fail).

“Maniac” is probably the best word to describe our boy Eddie. He’s a maniac in the music scene in the best way possible. He’s completely taking over and making sure everyone knows his name, starting with the drop of his latest song, ‘MANIAC.’ Although we absolutely adore some of his other songs like ‘Weatherman,’ ‘All for Nothing,’ and ‘Only You,’ ‘MANIAC’ hits differently.
“Losing someone was the start of the story and my first attempt at dealing with my exploding emotions. As a listener, I want to hear what the f**k is happening in someone’s life. Creating sonic stories is so secondhand for me, so when I looked at what I was going through, I had the skill set to express it without any smoke and mirrors.”

If we had just an ounce of Eddie’s talent, we’d be one unstoppable hive! Did you know Eddie produced this song? Yet another reason to be obsessed with Eddie! To be honest, we’ve been listening to this track on repeat, and it’s getting us so excited to hear more from Eddie in the near future.
