As we keep counting the days for BTS‘s comeback, more good news keeps falling into our laps. First, j-hope went on his first solo tour, and now it’s Jin’s turn. This tour was only the second surprise of this week because Jin also announced the release of his second solo album, Echo, set to be released on May 16th. In addition to giving us seven new songs, the #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR kicks off in South Korea in June, followed by dates in Asia, the US, and Europe. As we wait (not so patiently) for this historic moment, here are some songs we can’t wait to listen to live during the tour!

‘The Astronaut’
It is a no-brainer that when putting a Jin solo show together, ‘The Astronaut’ cannot be missed. Jin’s 2022 solo debut was one single song that changed our lives. Released right before his enlistment, ‘The Astronaut‘ is a song that earned so much meaning, bringing comfort and hope. ‘The Astronaut’ in a venue full of people who know every word is an experience everyone deserves to live. It has that perfect feel of community and love that would bring everything together.
‘Another Level’
Jin released his first mini-album, Happy, last year. Both the pre-release, ‘I’ll Be There,’ and the title track, ‘Running Wild,’ were addictive, bright, and lively songs that encapsulated Jin’s energy perfectly and will surely create an unforgettable moment during the tour. However, Jin also took Happy as the perfect occasion to explore and challenge his vocals more than ever before. One of the most impactful songs in the mini-album was ‘Another Level.’ It’s a striking, darker song that shows the best, most powerful, and unique sides to his vocals. Listening to this live can be nothing short of a spiritual moment.
‘Epiphany’
‘Epiphany’ was a moment. Even before his solo debut, Jin’s solo songs were always something to look forward to in BTS releases, and ‘Epiphany’ remains one of the most iconic songs out of the Love Yourself trilogy. ‘Epiphany‘ is a meaningful song that perfectly exemplifies the trilogy’s message and highlights Jin’s emotional voice in the most beautiful way. The stage for the song throughout the tour made the song come to life and became one of the most special moments of the night, and we can’t wait to, hopefully, see it again.
‘Moon’
And talking about solo songs in BTS albums… Out of Map of the Soul: 7, ‘Moon’ is probably the song we need the most in this setlist. Jin wrote and created the song to sing in front of the people who had always supported him. ‘Moon’ is a song that carries hope, love, and support, and is meant to be sung all over the world. The song became so important in the bond between Jin and ARMY that it is a no-brainer that ‘Moon’ is the song for this tour.
Anything from Echo
The announcement of this tour came right after the surprise announcement of Jin’s second mini-album. Happy was already a perfect release, exploring different sides of Jin’s vocals, artistry, and sound. Happy took us from the brightest places to the most peaceful ones, sometimes to the darkest. In a 6-track, Jin created an entire world, and now, with 7 tracks, we know Echo will be another encapsulation of Jin’s unique view, beautiful vocals, and new masterpieces.

What song are you hoping to see in the setlist for Jin’s first solo tour? Which track are you most excited to hear from Echo? Be sure to let us know by tweeting us at @thehoneypop or visiting us on Facebook and Instagram.
