Like so many of you, we have been following Nat & Alex’s career since the days of ‘Long Distance,’ making us cry daily, so to see this kind of artistic growth is truly remarkable. ‘Empty House’ is their newest release and follows a trend we’ve seen with the last couple tracks of theirs of songwriting just getting better and finding a sonic cohesiveness that ties everything together with a nice little bow.

Demi Lovato – ‘Fast’
Demi Lovato is back, and all is right in the pop world! ‘Fast’ showcases Demi expanding on the musical stylings of songs like ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ and ‘Cool For The Summer,’ but this time, we are truly getting the happiest and most content version of Demi. And truly, it exudes through the music. When listening to ‘Fast,’ you can hear how much fun was had making that track; it adds to the track’s already infectious nature. If this is what the new era of Demi Lovato sounds like, we are all in!

Reneé Rapp – BITE ME
A lot has changed in the world of Reneé Rapp since the 2023 release of Snow Angel; with the release of Mean Girls happening the following year, she blew up. What could have happened with that is so much pressure that the next project showed it was made from that place, and instead, what we got was an album that shows that Reneé creates for the love of the art and that she is always going to stay true to herself in her music. This album came at the perfect time to close out summer and help us dance any and all nights away.

Maren Morris – D R E A M S I C L E (deluxe)
D R E A M S I C L E is still, even a few months after its release, a contender for album of the year for us. It’s both, yes, that good, but also for us, feels like Maren’s first full-on pop album. Adding the four extra songs on the deluxe record only further cemented that. Everything about this record is elevated, from the vocals to the songwriting to the production, showing that Maren is able to seamlessly create within whatever genre she chooses.

Chappell Roan – ‘The Subway’
‘The Subway’ was easily one of our most anticipated songs of the year, and now that it’s out, you’ll be lucky if you ever get us to turn it off! ‘The Subway’ is the perfect example of why Chappell songs tend to be a bit more spread out; it takes time, true artistry, and a love for what you’re doing to master a song in this way. This kind of precision with each track, and having each track be a hit, is going to create longevity as the end result.
