The Fray
We all grew up listening to The Fray. From ‘You Found Me’ to ‘How to Save a Life,’ the band was basically the soundtrack to our middle school years. But, we’re here to remind you that yes, The Fray is still making music and it’s just as good as when they were producing hits in the early 2000’s. Their brand new album, A Light That Waits, brings us 11 new tracks filled with that old-school nostalgic sound we’ve been yearning for in music right now. Sienna Spiro
Now is the time to start your journey as a Sienna Spiro fan. She currently has three, yes three, songs on the Billboard Hot 100 and is emerging as an artist of her own at just 20 years old. She just wrapped up The Visitor Tour and will hopefully be hitting the road again soon, along with (maybe) releasing some new songs. Remember the song ‘Baby Powder?’ That was one of our favorite songs in 2021 when we were still stuck in the house scrolling endlessly on Spotify. Thanks to that record, we are now full Jenevieve fans. We’re still listening to that Jenevieve song along with her new records! Her latest release, ‘Waiting Room (feat. Jordan Ward),’ has us in a chokehold. The groovy beat had us hooked the moment we listened to it for the first time. Sometimes a mellow track about self-reflection is all a girl really needs these days.

If you’re not new around the hive, you already know we love little image and are always talking about them. But this is your daily reminder to give them a listen, if you haven’t already. Now is the time because the rock trio is releasing a new album, KILL THE GHOST, on March 27. Talk about nostalgia. It’s almost summertime, so that means we’re going back to where all the sunny music started – Jack Johnson. Something about a cool summer breeze, a mocktail in hand, sand in our hair, and a Jack Johnson track in the back just hits different. Even as kids, we were mega Jack Johnson fans without really ever realizing it. Now that we’re professional fangirls, we’re taking the responsibility even more seriously. Ok, so we can’t lie. We’ve been gatekeeping Florence Road. It’s finally time we spread the good word. Their new song, ‘Rabbits Can Swim,’ has been our quiet kept secret, but we simply have to talk about it more and more. We’re ending on a super high note! Girl group GIRLSET is setting the tone for successful girl groups lately. They showed us exactly who they were in their ‘Tweak’ music video (which, honestly, we’ve been watching a lot this week). If you’re looking for a group that gives face, vocals, and choreography, then GIRLSET are your girls.
